Doctoral Committee of the Graduate Centre for Engineering Sciences

The Doctoral Commitee of the Graduate Centre for Engineering Sciences decides, in particular, on the acceptance of applicants as doctoral candidates, the opening of the doctoral procedure. The Committee decides about the addmittance of supervisors and evaluators suggested by applicants and sets up the Examination Board. It also prepares changes to the Doctoral Regulations. The term of office of the ordinary and deputy professorial members is three years (current term until April 11, 2027), the term of office of the advisory member (representative of the doctoral candidates) is one year (current term until April 11, 2025).

The doctoral committee convenes four times a year (next date: March 2025, exact date tbd).
