- Board of Directors and Council of Graduate Centre for Engineering Sciences
- The Board of Directors is responsible for the strategic management of the Research campus of Central Hessen. The presidents of the participating universities are members of the Board of Directors.
- Steering Commitee

The Board of Directors entrusts the Steering Committee with exercising operative leadership. The members of the Steering Committee are the Vice Presidents responsible for research at the participating universities.
- Management Office

The Management Office conducts the current business of the Research Campus and supports committees and bodies in their work.
- Research Council

The Research Council supports and advises the Board of Directors and the Steering Committee in the strategic development of joint thematic fields in research, promotion of early-career researchers and scientific infrastructure and makes recommendations for granting funds from the Research Campus of Central Hessen.
- International Advisory Board

The Board of Directors is advised by an external International Advisory Board made up of internationally recognised persons from science and public life.
- Doctoral Committee of the Cooperative Doctoral Platform

In order to conduct cooperative doctorates, the Research Campus of Central Hessen has established a Doctoral Committee comprising professors of the three participating universities.
- General Assembly of the Graduate Centre for Engineering Sciences
- The General Assembly consists of all members of the Doctoral Center for Engineering Sciences, i.e. the professors, staff and doctoral candidates.
- Doctoral Committee of the Graduate Centre for Engineering Sciences
- The Doctoral Commitee of the Graduate Centre for Engineering Sciences decides, in particular, on the acceptance of applicants as doctoral candidates, the opening of the doctoral procedure.
