About the Person
Dr Benedict Tan has been leading the interdisciplinary junior research group ‘Gene Expression in Mitochondria’ at the Marburg University (Institute of Pharmaceutical Chemistry) in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology (IME), Bioresources Division, in Giessen since 2024. His focus is on the functional analysis of mitochondrial gene regulation.
