Admission procedure, step by step

This is the procedure after you have submitted your application:

1. The management office will forward your complete application to the doctoral committee of the Graduate Centre for Engineering Sciences. The doctoral committee will take a decision regarding acceptance and if applicable regarding proof of knowledge of the pertinent discipline or an aptitude assessment in exceptional cases and, as the case may be, compliance with requirements of the discipline.
2. The doctoral committee will inform you and the Management Office of the Research Campus in writing of the decision and of any requirements to be fulfilled. A letter of affirmation is your official admission and marks the date of the beginning of your doctoral process.
3. Once you receive the acceptance, you will complete the supervision agreement with your supervisor. Please submit a copy of the supervision agreement for the doctoral committee via the management office of the RCCH.
